A Typical Day at Our Doggie Day Stay
Your dog enjoys a well-balanced day filled with structured play, enrichment, and relaxation—all in a safe, supervised environment designed to support their physical and emotional well-being.
Scheduled Playtime
Your dog will enjoy supervised outdoor play sessions where they can run, explore, and safely socialize with other dogs based on their temperament and comfort level.
Group Walks
Dogs also enjoy walks together, giving them the opportunity to explore, build confidence, and engage in structured pack-style activity.
Interactive Play & Engagement
We offer mental stimulation through puzzle toys and games, along with one-on-one play with our staff and positive interaction with other dogs.
Quiet Time & Snack Break
Dogs are given dedicated time to rest and recharge in a calm, comfortable space, with a snack provided during this period.
Meal Time
For dogs who require meals during the day, we serve owner-provided food to maintain consistency with their regular routine.
What to Expect
Your dog’s day is thoughtfully structured to create the perfect balance of activity, socialization, and rest.
- Dogs go outside at least three times daily for exercise, fresh air, and playtime with friends (based on temperament)

Hillside Pet Lodge began as a shared dream between Savana and her mom, Rachael. After years of working together in their family’s licensed breeding program, Hillside Standard Poodles, they decided to expand their love for dogs into something even bigger. Together, they built Hillside Pet Lodge—a place where dogs could feel safe, loved, and cared for while their families are away. From the very start, Savana has been a key part of shaping the lodge into what it is today. She runs the doggy daycare program, organizing playgroups, supervising social time, and ensuring every dog enjoys a safe, structured, and fun day. She also handles hands-on dog care, from feeding and cleaning to exercise routines, always making sure each dog feels comfortable and secure. Savana greets clients, manages check-ins and check-outs, and supports families by answering questions and offering guidance. Behind the scenes, she helps keep the facility clean, organized, and running smoothly while also assisting with puppy socialization and basic obedience training. In addition to her work with the dogs, Savana manages the lodge’s social media—capturing photos and videos, sharing updates, and helping the community stay connected to life at Hillside Pet Lodge. Her dedication, creativity, and genuine passion shine through in everything she does, reflecting the heart of their family business: treating every dog like one of their own.
